Welcome to my website and thank you for visiting. I am a qualified Counsellor and NLP Life Skills Coach offering one to one counselling and coaching. Within those disciplines I can lay claim to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychology, Spiritual Healing and Bereavement Counselling. For many years I have worked closely with stroke survivors and their families.

The past  five years I have been helping families and their loved ones (often their main carers) meeting the challenge of living with Dementia on a day to day basis. These are emotive, demanding, challenging but very rewarding areas to counsel/coach.  June 2020: Passed the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Dementia Care and currently studying towards my Level  3 qualification.

October 2020: Please read my interview with BSY Group

I am a people person with great empathy skills and as Freud famously stated – his talking cure:

‘The purpose to change hysterical misery into ordinary human unhappiness.’

Having been active for over twenty-five years within my community and within the not for profit and education sectors I now feel experienced to help others. Alongside counselling I can offer therapeutic writing sessions  working on a one to one basis i.e. capturing memories for the family and helping with family trees. Please visit the Writing Therapy and Dementia Support and Activities drop down options from the menu.

At a recent lecture given by Kripamoya Das he said:- ‘We should always be working towards the conception of absolute. Have a mantra  – we should always be using our mind to free the mind!’
