Annie Manning MASC (CBT)

Welcome to my website and thank you for visiting. I am a qualified Counsellor and NLP Life Skills Coach offering one to one counselling and coaching. Within those disciplines I can lay claim to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Spiritual Healing and Bereavement Counselling. For many years I have worked closely with stroke survivors and their families. The past year I have been helping families and their loved ones meeting the challenge of living with Dementia on a day to day basis. These are both emotive, demanding, challenging but very rewarding areas to counsel/coach.

I am a people person with great empathy skills and as Freud famously stated – his talking cure:

‘The purpose to change hysterical misery into ordinary human unhappiness.’

Having been active for over twenty-five years within my community and within the not for profit and education sectors I now feel experienced to help others. Alongside counselling I can offer therapeutic writing sessions  working on a one to one basis i.e. capturing memories for the family. Please visit the Writing Therapy and Dementia Support and Activities drop down options from the menu.

At a recent lecture given by Kripamoya Das he said:- ‘We should always be working towards the conception of absolute. Have a mantra  – we should always be using our mind to free the mind!’

If you feel you would like to find out a bit more about my qualifications, skills and experience please select from the options menu or telephone me on 01582 794235.

Please visit my blog for positive daily posts and more inspirational quotes.
